A Bit about me

I am 23 years old and doing my best to stick my toes into the many different waters life has given me. As of late, my greatest accomplishment is my Psychology degree that I received from Flagler College. My life goal is to spread mental health awareness and show the world we are not alone.

When I was 19 years old I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). This caused a giant shift in how I have lived and experienced my young adult life. Having a mental illness affected how I was treated in church and how I was treated as a woman. For the first couple years I lived feeling weak and like I did not matter. Then somewhere during my year of being 20 , I began to change. My views became less traditional and I started to view the world through a new lens. I began to find inspiration through movies, art, and the many people I encountered throughout my day to day.  I hope to use this new way of seeing the world as a vehicle to share my thoughts with the world.

I love Jesus, quoting The Office, and talking your ear off about the latest film I watched. I dabble with three or four instruments but bass guitar is my favorite. My firm belief is that family, friends, and dogs make the world go round. Most days you will find me reading, watching Netflix, or at my  mentorship Job with Girls Inc.
